Remote Learning Supplements
As we move into these next few weeks, we realize we have more questions than we did the day before. The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) is updating what school will look like in the near future, but there are certainly more questions that must be answered.
Our district and state are doing what we currently believe to be the best steps to keep all of us safe and help flatten the curve. Because of that, we are having to do many things we have never done before and there will likely be challenges and learning curves. Thank you for your patience. We are all working to figure out new ways to meet all of our student's needs.
Here is a timetable of what we do know:
Supplemental Learning Rollout: April 1-April 10
For the next two weeks, teachers will put together supplemental learning. This is nonmandatory and cannot be graded, but it is suggested. These supplemental resources can be found here:
During this time, teachers will be working diligently to prepare for what ODE is calling "Distance Learning for All." Currently, this is slated to begin April 13th, but ODE requirements are ever-evolving. We will keep you updated. Again, we do not have all the answers for what this will look like, but a survey will be going out shortly to help us better understand the needs of the staff and students in our district.
We will continue to update our community as we work through these unprecedented times.
We miss you!
