We Prepare our Students for the Future


  • Forecasting:

    Forecasting is the process of selecting classes you wish to take during the next school year and beyond.  It is a plan that prepares you for college, work, and your goals for the future.  During high school, you have the opportunity to make many choices and decisions that will impact your future.  Forecasting is one of these opportunities.

    Important Forecasting Dates:

    • Monday, March 5:  Scappoose Middle School & Sauvie Island Academy 8th Grade Forecasting Presentation
    • Tuesday, March 6: Scappoose High School Grades 9-11 Forecasting Presentation
    • Wednesday, March 7: School-Wide Forecasting Day
    • Wednesday, March 7:  8th Grade Forecasting Information Night, 6 PM, SHS Auditorium
    • Thursday, March 8-Friday, March 9: Grade 11 Forecasting Meetings with Counselors
    • Monday, March 12-Tuesday, March 13:  Grade 10 Forecasting Meetings with Counselors
    • Wednesday, March 14-Thursday, March 15:  Grade 9 Forecasting Meetings with Counselors
    • Friday, March 16: Make-up Forecasting Meetings with Counselors

    All students should feel safe at school and in their communities.  SafeOregon gives kids, parents, schools, and their communities a way to report safety threats or potential acts of violence.

  • Scappoose High School Mascot to Remain Indians

    The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and the Oregon Board of Education officially approved the request by Scappoose School District to retain the Indians mascot. Go Indians!
