Online registration is available for new student enrollment.  After the online application has been accepted, the school may contact you for additional follow-up and may schedule a meeting prior to your student's first day.  This is important as you may receive school-specific forms to complete and other information to make your student's transition a smooth one.  If you did not upload documents during the online registration, you will need to bring those to the school.  You will receive an email notification when your registration has been accepted.

Your student is considered a returning student if they have previously attended a Scappoose School District school (including charters).  Families of returning students must use their existing ParentVUE account.  If you forgot your username or password, click HERE. Application/Registration (for NEW and returning students) Please reach out to the following schools to register your student for the Scappoose Online Academy (SOA):  

• Grade 6:  Otto Petersen at 971-200-8003     
• Grades 7-8:  Scappoose Middle School at 971-200-8004     
• Grades 9-12:  Scappoose High School:  971-200-8005. 

Please reach out to your school office or your student's current counselor if you are interested in enrolling your student into the SOA. Once you have registered your student with SOA follow the easy steps on the infographic below to fill out the application at Baker Web Academy (BWA). Please click the image to enlarge it. 

After notifying the school and the SOA Registrar, you will fill out this simple form here that will give Baker Web Academy (BWA) the information they need to help you select your own curriculum, sign up for classes, and get set up on both systems.

OpenEd Partnership Page

In Oregon, OpenEd partners with the Scapoose School District to provide 1,000+ K-8 students a program that provides a personalized learning experience that nurtures their individual talents, passions, and potential for distance, remote and homeschool families.

Families and students in Oregon can apply for the OpenEd program and enroll their student in the Scapoose School District Virtual at the beginning of or at mid-year.

The OpenEd program has the flexibility of homeschooling, the technical innovation, and the resourcing and support of a public school with Oregon approved curriculum and Oregon certified teachers all at NO COST to you!

Even better, families approved for the program are eligible to receive up to $1,800 in educational resources and up to a $1,400 technology allowance to support you through the program!
