My name is Katie Bean. This is my sixth year teaching and my third year in fourth grade. I have previously taught in fifth grade and second grade in Rainier at Hudson Park Elementary.

I graduated from Concordia University with my Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education. I also have my Masters from Concordia University in Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in Inclusive Classroom.

I have lived in Columbia County most of my life and attended St. Helens schools. I student taught at Otto Petersen with Mrs. Ronda Kienlen and knew that this school is where I wanted to be! My dream came true this year!

I enjoy reading, singing, hiking, and hanging out with my four nieces and one nephew! I love all things Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Lord of The Rings.
