Setting Up Student Accounts for Online Learning

  • Step 1: Configure Your G Suite Account

    Before you can access our online learning platforms, you will need to configure your G Suite account. Below are the general instructions for resetting your password and then logging in to Google. Student usernames and default passwords were emailed to families on Thursday, September 3. If you have misplaced your default password, please contact our school office for assistance.

  • Step 2: Request a New Password from Canvas

    Navigate to The login page will appear.

    Click the link that says Forgot Password


    Enter your student email address, then click Request Password


    A link to create a password will be emailed to you.

  • Step 3: Locate Canvas Invitation in Your Student Email

    Once you have requested a password reset link from Canvas, navigate to Click the tiles in the upper right corner of your browser window to access Gmail.

     Students should have received an email with a link to create a new Canvas password in their Gmail accounts. 

  • Step 4: Set Up your Canvas Account

    Follow the prompts contained in the email link to set up a password and log in to your account.

  • Step 5: Begin Using Canvas

    Once you have logged into Canvas, you can begin exploring the courses your teachers have created.
