 The 2021/22 school year will be my fourth year teaching at SMS. I am currently the 7th grade Life Science teacher and in my class we cover the following topics: 

Scientific Method, Cells, Genetics, Classification of Living Things, Ecology, Evolution

 I am looking forward to the upcoming year and getting back into the classroom! When I am not teaching I love to go snowshoeing in the winter months and kayaking in the summer months. I also enjoy running, hiking, swimming, reading, knitting, cooking, and crafting using my Cricut Machine! I coach girls volleyball, girls basketball and am the head track and field coach. No matter the sport, it is such a blast watching kids excel in things other than academics. I feel that the relationships I build with students outside of the classroom are invaluable.
