Mrs. Didier-Delwisch

    Mrs. Didier currently teaches 7th grade Language Arts, 8th grade Language Arts, Honors 8th grade Language Arts, and Creative Writing at SMS.  She has been a part of the Scappoose school district for over 20 years, and has previously taught at the high school for 13 of those years.  Mrs. Didier has spent three years working as a Literacy Leader for the district through NWRESD, helped develop and write the district adopted literacy plan in 2010, and spent a couple of years as a Literacy Coach for the district.  She also spent time doing free-lance work for NWRESD on the side.  

    Mrs. Didier spends much of her time outside of class as the head coach with the Scappoose High School Vision Dance Team. She is a veteran coach whose HS dance team has earned 13 state championship trophies in the last 20 years.  She was awarded Coach of the Year in 2009 by her peers in the Dance/Drill Coaches Association.  She was also nominated in 2019 for the coveted HS Coach of the Year Award by the National Dance Coaches Association - a prestigious honor representing Oregon.  She also coordinates the club youth dance teams for the elementary levels.
